3. Food

How are you going to feed everyone? The great thing about getting married at home is that you don’t have venue rules governing who can cater or what kind of kitchen equipment is available to do your own food. Using a caterer makes things easier, but it’s more expensive. Doing your own food will save you money, but is a lot more work (hint: get friends and family to help!). If your wedding is a lower-key affair, you can even go pot-luck. A pot-luck can be a really nice way to reduce stress if you throw your own wedding.
