It seems like June used to be the quintessential month for a wedding. But thank goodness, more and more people are choosing to get married at other times of the year — including winter. If your nuptials will be happening in December, January, or February, chances are you’ll find less competition for venues and vendors alike. And as long as you embrace the time of year, you can create a host of warm wedding memories, even if it’s freezing outside.
1. Color is Good!
A lot of brides tend to go with holiday reds, greens, and winter whites for their winter wedding. But there is nothing written that says you need to do that. Why not go with bolder, brighter colors like yellow, orange, and green? Jewel tones, perhaps? You could even decide to create a tropical atmosphere that your guests won’t be expecting.
